- Clefs - All four pitched clefs (treble, bass, alto and tenor)
- Accidentals - (Double) sharps, (double) flats, naturals & enharmonic equivalents
- Notation - Breve, Semibreve, Minim, Crotchet, Quaver, Semiquaver, Demisemiquaver, (Double) dotted notes & ties
- Time signatures - Regular (simple & compound) time & irregular time
- Key signatures - All key signatures (up to and including 6 sharps/flats)

No, you do not need ANY prior knowledge to take this course. Your tutor, Joey, will take you through everything you need to know to pass the Grade 5 Theory exam, ranging from basic principles to some of the more advanced music theory concepts required for the exam.
Our subscriptions range from £15 to £24 per month. All information can be found on our pricing page.
We find it takes students between 4 and 6 months to learn everything they need to pass the ABRSM Grade 5 Theory exam. ABRSM recommend 12 hours of guided lesson time, and 90 hours of total study time to pass the grade 5 theory exam.
Music theory has no age limit! We have helped students aged 7 to 70 pass their grade 5 music theory exam.
