ABRSM grade 5 theory is essential if you hope to pursue your instrument to the higher exam grades (6, 7 and 8). You must pass your grade 5 theory exam before you can sit any of the higher grades. Grade 5 theory is also beneficial for any students taking GCSE Music, or are hoping to study music further at University.

Nope! You don’t need to pass any of the previous theory exams in order to take ABRSM grade 5 theory.
Nope! This course has been designed to teach you everything you need to know for the new (online) ABRSM grade 5 theory exam. If you already have some degree of knowledge, that’s great! But if not, you can learn everything you need to know.

The weekly sessions are 40 minutes in length
You will find more information about the live Q&A sessions once you sign up, but the weekly sessions take place each weekend.
All the worksheets provided in the course have accompanying answer sheets available to download. This allows you to check your work as you go.
